Wood Stoves put on an
annual event of drag racing at the Mid Michigan Motorplex. Dave Wilson and
his buddies get together for a day of fun at the drag strip, if you have a
need for speed this day was just what the Doctor order. Nearly 80 racers
lined up to do battle, every thing from 7 plus second snowmobiles and many
cars that would run in the low 8,s were on hand. We dusted off our old 450
framer and lined it up to see what it would do. Logan won the motorcycle
class and was runner up in the final out of all the racers, not bad for a
bike that’s made to turn left. Logan made runs at 11.72 just over 110 MPH.
