Hilton-Ocean Walk Village. The Daytona 200 Memorial is dedicated to the winners of the Daytona 200
that raced on the beach from 1937 to 1960.

Enthusiasts can be a part of the Daytona 200
Memorial by taking part in the 'buy
a brick' or 'buy a plaque' offer.
Many of you have donated to the Phase 1 part of the project and thanks
to you, the Daytona 200 Monument is a reality! It was dedicated March
7, 2002 and again thanks to the donors.
During construction of Phase
1of the project, the foundation was laid for Phase 2 and all the
landscaping was finished. The best way to see the monument is to
park in the parking garage on the west side of Atlantic Ave. Walk over
the new pedestrian bridge on the second floor, keep walking past the
shops and restaurants toward the ocean. The monument is on the right.
Now comes Phase 2 of the wonderful project with more ways to donate
and become part of this great monument. The following in brief, is a
short outline of the things you can do to become a part of the
monument.
Engraved Pictured Plaques: 12” square granite plaques are available
that will be mounted to the inside of the sitting wall to display your
favorite moment forever.
Laser
engraved plaques
Have your favorite moment be a part of the monument forever. Provide a
picture of your favorite moment and it will be laser etched on to a
12" by 12" granite plaque. Your purchase buys two plaques; one will be
permanently mounted to the Daytona 200 Monument “Sitting wall” and a
duplicate copy for your home. The plaques are granite 12” by 12”
square and ¾” thick (sitting wall plaque) and 3/8” thick (home
plaque).

Paver Bricks
6000 Paver bricks are available and will be
installed in alphabetical order. You can add three lines of text on
the bricks.
You can be a part of this historic Daytona 200 Monument. Just take
part in the "buy a brick" offer. The brick with your name engraved
on it will be one of the many that will make up the walkway
centerpiece of the monument.
Use the buy a brick order form is provided for you on this site. The
cost is $50, which 100% goes to the monument fund. There are 3 lines
of 14 characters per line that you can use to write anything you
like to be engraved on your brick.
