General
Information:
Advertisers and advertising agencies
can place display adds. A 2% discount is applied to
accounts, if paid in full, in advance, with no past due account balance.
Agencies are expected to provide camera-ready copy by the 15th of the month,
not for the next month, but for the following month after that.
Agencies
assume
liability for advertising content including text, representations and illustrations, and
also assume responsibility for any claim arising there from against the publisher.
The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising which is not keeping with the
standards of the publication.
Commission:
Rates are not commissionable. Color Rates: Spot color - $110
4/color & insert rates available upon
request.
Cancellations:
Will be accepted only up to the closing date for each issue on the 1st of the month
preceding issue date.
Production:
Agencies are expected to provide either the following:
Camera -ready artwork*
PDF files
EPS files**
*screened halftones may produce unsatisfactory
results.
** All text must be "created to outline." Call for info.
Rates shown include cost of publishing,
advertisement and making minor revisions to copy if necessary.
If we do an ad layout, the cost is 15% extra of original ad cost (Minimum15 minutes
no
charge).
Deadline:
15th of the month, not for the next month,
but for the following month after that.
E-mail text or camera-ready text preferred. No
hand written articles or text will be accepted.
Mechanical
Information: Printing process is web offset. PLEASE,
Continuous Tone Copy Only! Photographs should be line copy.
Screened copy may
produce unsatisfactory results.
Acceptable Material: Positives alone are acceptable when
no halftones or screened areas are included in the copy.
Bleed: No bleed except in gutter; 1.2 inch maximum.
Page Dimensions: Full page active area (printable area)
is10.75"x 15.5" with four 2.25" columns.
